Meetings & Activities for Veterans

The aims and purposes of this organization are as follows:
To serve our country in peace as in war; to build and maintain the welfare of the United States of America toward lasting prosperity and peace for all its inhabitants.
AMVETS members enjoy savings and benefits from our many partners and participate in post activities for fun, community service, and to help fellow veterans across many aspects of life.

AMVETS

AMVETS commitment to service traces its roots back to 1944 when veteran volunteers first began helping veterans of World War II obtain the benefits promised them by the federal government. Membership is open to anyone who is currently serving, or who has honorably served, in the U.S. Armed Forces from World War II to the present, to include the National Guard and Reserves and also non-military immediate family member of parents that served in the above mentioned.

AMVETS Post 2415 was incorporated on July 6, 2021 and serves Brevard County
.

AMVETS 2415

The AMVETS oversee Rolling to Remember in DC. AMVETS Riders are the only group that Congress recognizes. We report hours, miles, donations, and expenses to have a voice on Capitol Hill to advocate for our country’s Veterans.

The AMVETS Chapter 2415 Riders is #2 in the state of Florida for volunteer hours in 2023.  Nationally the AMVETS Riders have over $11 million in reporting July 22-June 23.

Mission

To enhance and safeguard the entitlements for all American Veterans who have served honorably and to improve the quality of life for them, their families, and the communities where they live through leadership, advocacy and services.

Veterans

AMVETS exists to enhance the quality of life for all veterans, their families and survivors.

AMVETS Post 2415 donated this chair to Jim, USAF retired at Crescentwood Assisted Living. This is why we do what we do!
Jim was very happy to have his new wheels. ❤
