Craft Vendor Tent 12'x 12'      $35

(Area size needed for complete set-up: dimensions must include tongue of trailer and if using propane)

Chili Cook-Off Tent 12'x12' (larger sizes must be approved)

PSJCF Members/Volunteers will receive a 50% discount when participating as a vendor in foundation events.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR FOOD VENDORS

Vendors must supply a copy of your Business License, Occupational License, and a copy of your insurance certificate with application.

• Vendor site will be assigned by PSJCF, on first-come, first serve basis.
• Fee must accompany application for space to be reserved.
• You must bring at least one fire extinguisher if you will be cooking on site.

By checking the box on the form below the applicant states that he/she has read these Terms and Conditions and agrees to them. The undersigned exhibitor agrees to indemnify and holds harmless Port St. John Community Foundation Inc., and all participating sponsors from and against any and all claims, damages, actions, judgments, decrees, penalties, and/or personal injury, and/or damage to property including attorney’s fees, arising out of the undersigned’s participation in this event or from the use and occupancy by the undersigned exhibitor, its sub-exhibitions, employees, promoters, agents, guests, invitees, contractors, etc., of the space made available in this event. Additionally, both parties agree that Vendor shall make no unlawful, improper, or offensive use of the leased property. The Vendor agrees to indemnify and save harmless the Landlord against and from any and all claims by or on behalf of any person or persons, firm or firms, corporation or corporations and costs, expenses and liabilities incurred in or about any such claim or action or proceeding brought thereon, arising from (1) Vendor’s use of the leased property, or (2) any material breach or default on the part of the Vendor in the performance of any covenant or agreement on the part of the Vendor to be performed, to the extent such claims, costs, expenses or liabilities are caused by the negligent acts or omissions or willful misconduct of Vendor. In no event shall sponsors have any liability for any indirect, special, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages.

I understand the payment in full must accompany this application. No refunds. I further understand that compliance with Health & Tax Department’s requirements will be my responsibility. I further agree that this Indemnification and Hold Harmless provision shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.

POWER – No electricity or fuel will be provided to exhibitors. Exhibitors must provide their own power.

POLITICAL CAMPAIGNS
No space will be provided for political or campaign booths.

NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, SEXUALLY GRAPHIC OR CRUDE GRAFITTI ARE TO BE SOLD OR DISPLAYED BY ANYONE.

PSJCF reserves the right to refuse your display or distribution of items that are offensive or improper for children.

SET UP TIMES
The facility will be open the day of event for booth setup from 11:00am to 1:00pm. All booths must be set up 30 minutes prior to the event start time and must stay until the end of the event. Your booth must be free standing and stakes/guidelines must be within your site. Once a space is assigned to you, there are no changes in location permitted. You may drive to your location to unload/setup. If space allows, you will be able to leave your vehicle behind your booth.

Welcome all Chili Chefs!


Thank you for our ANNUAL Fay Lake FestiFALL Chili Cook-Off. Below you will find the details for entering your chili. Please note we do welcome vegetarian and gluten free chilis though it is not a requirement.

This event is sponsored by the Port St John Community Foundation, a nonprofit organization that serves and benefits the residents and businesses
of Port St John and Brevard County.

The Chili Cook-Off will take place at the Lake View Pavilion at Fay Lake Wilderness Park on Saturday, November 5th from 3-4:30. Winners announced at 5:00pm.

There is no entry fee. The first 10 entries received will be chosen to compete. To enter download and fill out the Entry Form and return it to us by email no later than November 4th. Chili Cook-Off entries will be able to sample other entries for free.

You will need to provide:
• Participants will supply their own power, extension cords and
10x10 tent for individual serving. Participants should be prepared to provide their own power.
• Bring 1-2 crock pots (approximately 6-12 quarts) of
ReadytoEat chili (as in hot, not cold or frozen)
• Serving utensils
• Condiments of your choice

We will provide tasting cups, utensils, napkins, beverages, and corn bread.

There will be winners for 1st Place Judges Award, and People’s Choice Award, each with an accompanying prize and/or trophy.

1st Place Judges Award: Chef’s Culinary Knife, 1st Place Trophy, 1st Place Winner Apron and acknowledged in HAPPENINGS, on the Happenings.net and PortStJohnCommunityFoundation.com web sites.

People’s Choice Award: People’s Choice Award Apron, Trophy and acknowledged in HAPPENINGS, on the Happenings.net and PortStJohnCommunityFoundation.com web sites.

to cheer you on!

Tasting Tickets may be purchased 10 for $5. The tickets purchased will be used to vote for and determine the People's Choice winner.
The PSJCF Chili Cook-Off Judges Team (TBA) will determine the 1st Place Judges Award.

Report to Tia Mahan at 11:00 for set up instructions on event day. Tasting will begin at 3pm and end at 4:30.

Chili Cook-Off Winners will be announced at 5:00pm.
